Job summary

Five Below in Milwaukee is seeking a motivated store leader to wow customers and train staff to deliver fast, friendly service. You will oversee daily activities of all store associates, manage opening and closing, and ensure pricing, merchandising and safety standards are met.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. We offer hourly pay starting at $11.50 and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact; trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates, ensuring performance and customer service excellence.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations, staff management, and urgent issues.
• Open/close the store: secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, and ensure smooth operation.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and product knowledge.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including trash, bathrooms, and stock room.
