Job summary

Wingstop is seeking a Shift Lead for its Overland Park location to manage daily restaurant operations during your shift and support the General Manager. You will ensure fast, friendly service, high food quality, cleanliness, and a safe dining environment while coaching team members.

This part-time role requires a high school diploma, prior customer service or leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in restaurant, retail, or customer service.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations during shifts and support management.
• Coach team members, resolve guest concerns, and maintain a positive environment.
• Ensure excellent customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
• Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures.
• Assist with cash management and register accountability.
• Monitor labor and staffing needs during shifts.
• Assist with inventory counts, product rotation, and waste control.
• Communicate needs to restaurant management.
• Support sales-building initiatives and restaurant goals.
