Job summary

Murphy Oil USA, Inc is hiring part-time Shift Leads to deliver prompt, courteous customer service at our Montgomery, AL locations. You will support store operations, manage cash transactions, and help drive performance with the team.

Eligible candidates have cashier experience, a high school diploma or GED, and can meet state age requirements. Daily pay, health benefits, and advancement opportunities are among the benefits offered.

Qualifications

High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience.
Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience.
Must be 21+ years old in Alabama (and 18+ in other states) and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
Responding to and resolving customer requests and concerns.
Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
Operating cash register.
Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers.
Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations.
Helping lead the team to exceed the store's performance goals and objectives.
Performing job related duties as assigned.
In the absence of management provide backup duties including daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and training new employees.
