Job summary

CAMBA Inc. Kings Inn Family Shelter in New York City is seeking a Part-Time Supervisor to oversee residence operations, coordinate staff, and maintain safety and client services. Reports to Director of Security and Operations.

The role requires HS Diploma or GED with experience, or higher degrees, plus TB results, First Aid/CPR, overdose prevention, Fire Safety and CPI certifications. The position pays $25.75 per hour for 32 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 3 years applicable experience, or AA with 2 years, or BA/BSW with equivalent experience.
• TB results prior to start date and attestations for State Central Child Abuse Registry.
• First Aid/CPR, overdose prevention, F-80 Fire Safety Coordinator, CPI certification required.

Responsibilities

• Access client data using the HRA Public Assistance system and DHS 4002 system as needed.
• Coordinate and facilitate groups and trainings.
• Monitor client safety and ensure safety polices and procedures are practiced daily.
• Schedule and ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports to CAMBA management and funders.
• Lead administrative and staff meetings; supervise residence staff.
