Job summary

CAMBA is seeking a Per Diem Shift Supervisor in Queens, NY to supervise residence staff and ensure program goals are met. The role involves coordinating daily operations, maintaining client confidentiality, and using DHS/DHS systems to track progress.

The position supports homelessness services at Kings Inn Family Shelter and reports to the Director of Security and Operations. Requires a HS diploma or GED with relevant experience; bilingual skills and certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required with 3 years relevant experience; or AA with 2 years; or BA with relevant experience.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• May be required to sign NYC DOH/MH attestation.
• May be required to become First Aid/ CPR certified.
• May be required to become certified in overdose prevention.
• F-80 required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation and supervision of all residence-related staff and services daily/weekly/monthly.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and ensure confidentiality.
• Access client data using HRA Public Assistance System and DHS 4002 as needed.
• Monitor clients’ progress and document via progress notes.
• Coordinate day-to-day work of residence staff to ensure client success.
• Coordinate and facilitate groups and trainings.
• Investigate all complaints and incidents.
• Monitor clients’ safety and enforce safety policies daily.
• Plan and organize program activities to meet contract goals.
• Provide information for weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports.
