Hildebrand in Medford, MA is seeking a Part Time Residential Assistant to support homeless families in our congregate shelter. You will promote a safe, clean living environment, ensure rooms are prepared and maintained, and help residents with job search, resumes, and housing applications as part of a re-housing plan.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, prior human services experience, and CPR/SFA certification within 30 days of hire.

• Ability to work well on an individual level with clients, families and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure client confidentiality and professionalism.
• Willingness to lift 25 pounds and navigate stairs as needed.

Responsabilités

• Promote a clean, welcoming living environment for families in residence.
• Ensure each family has a safe, clean, furnished room.
• Oversee facility cleanliness and implement shift checks.
• Monitor rules and ensure compliance with policies and Hildebrand procedures.
• Support Re-Housing Plan activities to help families move toward independence.
• Participate in staff meetings, training and required program activities.
• Follow agency rules and systems to meet residents' goals.
