Job summary

Hildebrand in Medford, MA is seeking a Part Time Residential Assistant to support families in a congregate shelter. The role offers hourly pay between $19.50 and $20.25 and requires a High School diploma, experience in human services, and CPR/SFA certification within 30 days.

You will help create a safe, clean living environment, assist with housing-related planning, and participate in staff meetings to ensure program compliance and resident dignity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in Human Services, Residential Program setting preferred.
• CPR/SFA Certification within 30 days of hire required.
• Bilingual Haitian Creole or Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a clean, harmonious, and welcoming living environment for families.
• Ensure each family has a safe, clean, and adequately furnished room.
• Oversee daily checks during shifts, room cleanliness, and office area maintenance.
• Enforce rules, policies, and regulatory requirements governing community living.
• Support Re-Housing Plan activities to help families move out of shelter and regain independence.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and required program activities.
• Follow agency rules and procedures to meet residents' goals.
