As a member of our dining team, you may start without prior experience; you will learn to handle casual and fine dining service, take orders, deliver meals, and keep the dining area clean and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age or older.
• No previous work experience is required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require work permits; guidance provided by the Community Manager during hiring.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the dining experience by assisting residents in Casual Dining by carrying trays, offering beverages, and proactively meeting service needs.
• Create memorable moments in Fine Dining by greeting tables, guiding menu selections, taking orders, and serving courses.
• Clear and reset tables, handle dishes, refill water carafes, and set tables before meals.
• Vacuum carpets, clean the salad bar, and complete other cleaning tasks as needed.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly attitude.
• Listen and respond kindly to resident comments or concerns and share feedback with a manager.
• Assist with other tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.
