Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities is seeking a Part-Time Server to create enjoyable dining experiences for residents. You’ll join a collaborative team, contribute ideas, and help maintain a caring community environment.

The role emphasizes service excellence and respectful, compassionate interaction with residents, guests, and staff. Responsibilities include assisting in Casual and Fine Dining, delivering room service, maintaining a clean dining area, and responding to feedback.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Must be able to work a Monday-Saturday part-time schedule.
• No previous work experience is required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits within two weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require certain applicants to obtain a work permit before beginning employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Casual Dining by carrying trays, offering beverages, and meeting service needs.
• Greet tables in Fine Dining, guide menu selections, take orders, and serve courses from beverages to desserts.
• Clear and reset tables, handle dishes, refill water, and reset tables before meals.
• Vacuum carpets, clean the salad bar, and perform other cleaning tasks as needed.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Listen to resident comments or concerns and relay feedback to a manager or supervisor.
• Support supervisors with additional tasks as needed.
