Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities is seeking a Part-Time Server to enhance dining experiences for residents. You’ll assist in Casual and Fine Dining, greet tables, take orders, and help keep the dining room welcoming and clean, while delivering room service as needed.

Applicants must be at least 15 years old, have no required prior work experience, and communicate in English with residents and staff. If applicable, obtain a food handler permit within two weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age or older.
• No previous work experience is required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two (2) weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require certain applicants to obtain a work permit before beginning employment.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the dining experience by assisting residents in Casual Dining by carrying trays, offering beverages, and proactively meeting service needs.
• Create memorable moments in Fine Dining by warmly greeting tables, guiding residents through menu selections, accurately taking orders, and serving a full range of courses.
• Keep the dining room looking its best by clearing and resetting tables, handling dishes, refilling water carafes, and setting tables before meals.
• Help keep things clean and organized by vacuuming carpets, cleaning the salad bar, and completing other cleaning tasks as needed.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly, positive attitude.
