Job summary

Sherman Associates seeks a part-time Server at the Sheraton Duluth Hotel to welcome guests, provide outstanding service, and contribute to memorable dining experiences. The role suits friendly, energetic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting, with bartending experience a plus.

Schedule includes Saturday and Sunday mornings (7:30am-11:00am) and occasional evenings (4:30-10pm). Pay starts at $11.41/hour plus tips, with a comprehensive benefits package for part-time employees.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous hotel/hospitality or related service industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a multi-lingual environment.
• Must pass required Alcohol service training.
• Schedule may vary due to the specific needs of the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Serves multiple tables as directed by management.
• Knows menu items for room service, club lounge, banquets and restaurant.
• Takes and fills customer orders; upsells alcohol and food.
• Uses computer to ring orders and guest checks.
• Interacts with guests in a friendly, fast manner.
• Accepts payments and makes accurate change.
• Maintains cleanliness and smooth restaurant operation; resets tables quickly.
