Job summary

Allied Universal in Herndon, VA is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer to patrol, monitor access, and deliver excellent customer service at a technology location. The role focuses on maintaining a visible security presence and documenting observations using tablet tools.

Qualifications

• Requires basic customer service experience and computer usage.
• Access control and badge handling preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site procedures and safety policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials per site procedures; report concerns to proper personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following escalation protocols.
• Complete accurate activity reports and shift communications to maintain a professional environment.
