Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Sterling, VA. The role involves patrolling a technology-focused facility, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering excellent customer service.

You will monitor access points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents and alarms using established procedures while documenting activities for site leadership. The position offers flexibility with a daytime and weekend schedule and a competitive hourly pay rate.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and document incidents.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, efficient manner following procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility and surrounding areas to identify concerns.
• Report observations and maintenance needs to site leadership and supervision.
