Job summary

Allied Universal in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer for an observation patrol at a technology-focused site. You will provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Responsibilities include unarmed patrols of office areas and perimeter, monitoring access points, reporting unusual conditions, and documenting observations. A high school diploma and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, technology spaces, parking areas, entry points, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual conditions or access issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting observations as required.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate professionally with site contacts and first responders, and support a professional environment for all occupants.
