Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a pharmaceutical site in Cambridge, MA. Shifts run Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with starting pay at $25.55 per hour and paid orientation and training.

The role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to gain hands-on security experience at a healthcare facility. You will provide customer service, monitor alarms, respond to incidents, and maintain logs on site while adhering to site policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18+ years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Ability to lift 20+ pounds.
• Experience in customer service and alarm panel familiarity.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, and communications; dispatch personnel per site protocols.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with responders as needed.
• Maintain dispatch logs and secure, sensitive information.
• Conduct regular and random patrols at the healthcare location and perimeter.
