Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Pharma Company in Cambridge, MA. The role offers fixed weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday 7 AM–3 PM) with a pay rate of $25.55 per hour and benefits including paid orientation, paid training, free parking, and on-site gym.

This position provides reliable hours at a designated site with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform, supporting a pathway toward full-time roles within the industry leader.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A background check and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, and communications; dispatch appropriate personnel and document incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain dispatch logs, access-related records, and other documentation while handling sensitive information.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare location and perimeter, as assigned.
