Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for a pharma location in Lexington, MA. The shift runs Friday through Sunday, 3 PM to 11 PM, with starting pay of $22.00 per hour and paid orientation/training.

As a Security Officer, you’ll protect visitors and staff, perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism. A valid driver’s license is required and the role offers flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and emergencies calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, and parking areas to identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Contribute to a professional environment through clear communication with site personnel.
