Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Pharmacy in Dorchester, MA. The role offers Friday shifts from 1 PM to 9 PM with the option to pick up additional shifts.

Starting pay is $22.85 per hour, with paid orientation and training. You will have a fixed anchor shift at the site and may earn more by taking additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff following site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly per site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity to site personnel.
• Prepare incident reports and communicate with Allied Universal supervision and client representatives.
