Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for a Pharmacy site in Dorchester, MA. The role offers Fridays 1 PM - 9 PM with optional extra shifts, and a starting pay of $22.85 per hour plus paid orientation and training.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by Allied Universal.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff per site policies and safety procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other situations calmly and following site protocols.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or hazards to site personnel.
• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate with Allied Universal supervision and client representatives.
