Job summary

Allied Universal in Salisbury, MD is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol to provide reliable security with fixed anchor shifts and the flexibility to pick up additional shifts. Pay rate is $18.03 per hour with daytime scheduling on a 5:00 PM–11:00 PM window.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and document observations, incidents, and/or irregular conditions.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while reporting security-related concerns and maintaining required records.
