Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Wilmington, DE. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

The pay rate is $17.00 per hour and the schedule can include daytime Saturdays from 08:00 AM to 05:15 PM. The position emphasizes customer service, patrols, incident response, and access control across a retail site, with a six-month anchor shift commitment and opportunities to scale to a full-time

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas and parking areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards and report observations to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly following site procedures.
• Assist with access control and visitor interactions as assigned.
