Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a part-time Security Officer Enhanced in Brownsville, TX. The role provides fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform, enabling earnings growth while maintaining a stable base schedule.

Pay rate is $10.00 per hour with a six-month anchor shift commitment and potential progression toward a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks will be conducted as required by federal, state and local laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs and incident reports.
• Communicate observed conditions and maintenance-related issues to site contacts and leadership.
