Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time at our Houston, TX site. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, enabling higher earnings while maintaining part-time hours.

The position supports a stable base schedule and opportunities to advance toward full-time hours up to 40 per week. Salary is paid at $18.84 per hour with a path to more shifts as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the retail location, greet and assist visitors, and support entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to identify unusual activity, policy concerns, and maintenance issues.
• Document observations, incidents and security-related activities according to site requirements.
