Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Galveston, TX. This role offers flexible hours, reliability, and a path toward full-time work with the industry leader.

Pay rate is $16.00 per hour, with Fixed-Shift Commitment and an Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program to increase earnings by picking up additional shifts across sites.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and supervision.
• Assist with access control, entry and exit monitoring, and incident documentation per site procedures.
