Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, offers a part-time Enhanced Security Officer role in Fremont, CA with flexible hours and reliable base shifts. The position pays $22.52 per hour and includes opportunities to earn more through the pick-up shifts program.

This role features fixed anchor shifts and a six-month commitment, plus the option to work additional shifts on the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background checks will be conducted as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, and assist with emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents calmly and problem-solve effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures.
• Report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
