Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Salinas, CA. This role offers flexible hours and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to earn more, with a fixed anchor shift and a schedule that may include evenings and nights.

Pay rate is $20.00 per hour. The position supports part‑time employment with potential path to full‑time through the Earn More program and serves at assigned client sites with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures and site policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; site conditions may vary by client.
