Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution center, including interiors, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and drivers.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document details.
• Assist with maintaining orderly traffic flow for delivery vehicles and pedestrians and report hazards to site leadership.
