The Part Time Enhanced Security Officer role provides flexible hours, a fixed anchor shift at a designated site, and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $17.00 per hour. This position supports a part-time schedule with potential to grow to 40 hours per week while maintaining flexibility for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for residents, guests, visitors, vendors, and deliveries as per procedures.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and incidents per site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, delivery, and access records; communicate with property staff and residents.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
