Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Atlanta, GA. This unarmed, flexible role offers fixed anchor shifts and optional extra shifts to boost earnings.

Expect reliable, consistent hours with growth potential and opportunities to transition to a full-time schedule. Earn $17.50 per hour with a six-month anchor commitment and access to our scheduling platform for additional shifts.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly, following reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; direct individuals and report unauthorized access concerns.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and daily activity logs and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership.
