Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Atlanta, GA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform, designed for flexible, dependable income.

Pay rate starts at $18.00 per hour, with a schedule that includes DayTime Thursday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Ideal candidates have at least one year of security experience and meet basic education and background-check requirements.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Minimum age: 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate contacts as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.
