Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location, following security procedures and emergency protocols.
• Respond to incidents and safety concerns calmly, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions or policy violations promptly.
• Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation accurately and on time.
