Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to support flexible, dependable hours at an Atlanta, GA site. The role offers fixed shifts with optional pick-up shifts to increase earnings, designed for someone aiming to supplement income or grow into a full-time career with the industry leader.

Pay rate is $17.50 per hour. Typical schedule includes Daytime shifts Tue 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM and Thu 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM, with opportunities to pick extra shifts across sites.

Qualifications

• Has at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response practices.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances with calm, problem-solving actions and proper reporting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, directing individuals and reporting unauthorized access.
• Prepare incident reports and daily activity logs, and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership.
