Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Atlanta, GA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra hours via a scheduling platform, designed for income stability and growth within a leading security company.

The position involves customer service, unarmed patrols of galleries and public areas, and following site procedures to ensure safety. A six-month anchor commitment applies, with potential to scale up to 40 hours weekly when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors at a cultural institution while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of galleries, public areas, entrances, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and support visitor flow by observing entry and exit activity, reporting unauthorized access concerns, and providing directions or assistance as needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
