Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a contracted Physical Therapist to serve a caseload of students in a school-based setting near Markham, TX. You will work 5-8 hours per week with a focus on advancing each child’s physical development and independence.

You will conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and provide both one-on-one and small-group therapy aligned with IEPs, while collaborating with teachers and families to track progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Texas.
• Experience in school or pediatric therapy environment preferred.
• Strong communication with educators and families.
• Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Patience and compassion with children of all abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop therapy plans tailored to each student.
• Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions according to IEPs.
• Track progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Consult with teachers, staff and parents regarding student status and recommendations.
• Advise on adaptive equipment and modifications to promote participation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input to the educational team.
