Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a part-time school-based Physical Therapist for the 2026/2027 academic year in Texas. You will work with students ages 3 to 22 across classroom, playground, and virtual settings, delivering direct PT services and supporting access to education.

The ideal candidate is a Texas-licensed PT with accredited program and fieldwork, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of state rules and ethics.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Texas, with accredited PT program and fieldwork experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of Texas PT rules, regulations, and code of ethics.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and confidentiality.
• Independent learner staying current with best practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct physical therapy services for Special Education students in school settings.
• Assist with referrals, assessments, and therapy service documentation.
• Support IEP meetings, goal setting, and assistive technology/adaptive equipment.
• Collaborate closely with staff, educators, and families.
• Present and review assessment data at annual meetings and guide staff on standards-based IEP goals.
• Provide transition services and support across multiple settings as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to professional development standards.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Special Education.
