Job summary

LifeWise Academy is hiring a part-time CDL bus driver to transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. The driver must maintain a clean driving record, pass background and FMCSA checks, and comply with LifeWise safety policies.

The role requires a mature Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Statement of Faith and active church involvement. A valid CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement is required, with S endorsement preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in a local church with doctrine aligned to LifeWise beliefs
• Clean driving record for at least 5 years and no at‑fault accidents or citations in that period
• Background check and FMCSA Clearinghouse verification required

Responsibilities

• Transport students and volunteers to and from LifeWise site
• Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus
• Perform regular bus inspections and refueling as needed
• Enforce safety rules and assist students boarding/alighting
• Complete required LifeWise Academy training and participate in classroom activities if directed
