Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 is seeking a Full-Time Personal Care Assistant / 1:1 Paraeducator (School Age) to provide instructional, behavioral and personal care support as outlined in the student’s IEP. The role is supervised by the classroom teacher and program supervisor.

Schedule is 6.50 hours per day, 7:45 am–2:15 pm, Monday–Friday, 185 days/year; starting salary is $20.00 per hour with potential to earn up to an additional $5,000 this school year.

Qualifications

• Verbal communication and ability to follow directions.
• Basic computer skills including data entry, email, and word processing.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification desired.
• Certification required: CPI/SCM/QBS safety trainings as needed.

Responsabilités

• Provide instructional, behavioral and personal care support as outlined in the student’s IEP.
• Work under guidance of classroom teacher and program supervisor.
• Support students in activities of daily living and safety needs.
