Job summary

Antelope Valley Care Center is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise day-to-day nursing activities during the NOC shift in a long-term care setting. The role requires adherence to federal, state, and local standards to ensure the highest quality care for residents.

The RN will supervise nursing staff, participate in policy development, and collaborate with the DON/ADON to maintain quality care and compliance across the facility.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree and be licensed to practice as an RN in the state.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred.
• Must maintain required continuing education/licensing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during your tour of duty.
• Assist in directing the nursing service functions and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the nursing service department.
• Review discharge plans and participate in Care Plan Committee activities.
• Monitor staffing, assign duties, and ensure quality nursing care to residents.
• Participate in safety, infection control, and QA programs as required.
