Sherwood Oaks Post Acute is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to oversee day-to-day nursing activities on the night shift. The RN will ensure care quality aligns with federal, state, and local guidelines and supervise nursing staff under the direction of the Director of Nursing.

The role emphasizes supervision, policy adherence, care planning, and collaboration with the DON/ADON to maintain high standards of resident care and safety during the night shift at our Thousand Oaks facility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during your tour of duty.
• Ensure nursing service personnel comply with procedures and standards.
• Contribute to policy updates and care-planning with DON/ADON input.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and facility surveys.
• Maintain communication with residents, families, and medical staff.
• Assist in planning and coordinating patient discharge planning.
