Job summary

SUN MAR HEALTH CARE is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to support the DON for the NOC shift in our SNF. This full-time/part-time role requires coordinating care, ensuring qualified nursing staff, and upholding a high standard of safety and quality for residents.

You will visit residents daily, review notes, and communicate with physicians and families. California RN licensure is required; sub-acute experience is strongly preferred. Location: North Valley Nursing Center, California.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in California.
• RN Supervisor experience in SNF settings.
• Sub-Acute experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inform Director about pending physician visits.
• Consult with resident, family and physician to plan care via teleconference.
• Notify attending physician and next-of-kin if condition changes.
• Visit residents daily to assess physical and emotional status.
• Ensure direct nursing care by licensed staff and aides.
• Review nurses' notes for accuracy and resident preferences.
• Provide direct nursing care as needed.
• Start IVs and collect specimens for labs as ordered.
• Take vital signs and manage admissions/discharges.
