A premier home health agency in Fair Lawn, NJ seeks a Nurse Supervisor (RN) for a part-time leadership role. This position balances direct nursing care with care coordination in a home or assisted living setting, offering meaningful impact while maintaining a 20-hour work week.

Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, administering prescribed medications, documenting care, coordinating multidisciplinary appointments, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and NJ regulations.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing (NJ Board of Nursing).
• BSN or related health field from an accredited program, plus at least 2 years RN experience in community/home health.
• Experience delivering direct nursing services in home environments and assisted living with NJ rules knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance with required liability limits.
• Strong English communication and ability to lift, stand, and perform care duties.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and document clients’ biophysical, psychosocial, and educational needs; deliver preventive and restorative care per standards.
• Administer and document prescribed medications and perform clinical treatments per care plan.
• Coordinate scheduling for multidisciplinary appointments and therapies; manage time for productivity.
• Interpret health status for clients and families; report changes to the Director of Nursing and physician.
• Adhere to infection control and HIPAA regulations to ensure client safety.
• Maintain client records and timecards; participate in quality improvement activities.
• Reports to Director of Nursing.
