Job summary

Intermountain Health in Butte, MT is seeking an experienced RN Shift Lead I for part-time, day shift to provide leadership and clinical expertise on the unit. You will coordinate staffing and resources to ensure census and acuity guide staffing decisions, and support staff with clinical guidance and professionalism.

The role requires BSN within 4 years (or equivalent experience), MT RN license, and BLS upon hire.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License.
• BLS Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and/or provides direct patient care. Coordinates unit resources to align staffing with census and acuity.
• Responds to patient emergencies as needed and serves as charge or lead for disasters.
• Collaborates with staffing office to adjust staff numbers for census changes during shifts.
• Communicates with the oncoming Charge Nurse about census, staffing, admissions, and discharges.
