Job summary

Avamere Transitional Care of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time and PRN shifts. You will provide comprehensive patient care, supervise LPNs and CNAs, administer medications, monitor health, and coordinate with the care team.

Requirements include WA RN license, nursing degree, CPR/BLS, and LTC experience preferred. Wage ranges from $50 to $60 per hour DOE, with full benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, active RN license in WA; BSN preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric rehab is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for adverse effects.
• Monitor vital signs and overall health status; report changes to physicians.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs; provide orientation and guidance to staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and communications with families.
