Job summary

Avamere Living in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time day shifts at Avamere at Pacific Ridge. The RN will assess residents, administer medications, monitor health, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, while supervising LPNs and CNAs.

Required: nursing degree, active WA RN license (BSN preferred), CPR/BLS, and LTC/geriatric experience. Wage range $50–$60/hour DOE with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Active RN license in the state (WA) with BSN preferred.
• CPR/BLS current and active during employment.
• Experience in long-term care, geriatric rehab, sub-acute, or critical care settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the team.
• Administer medications and monitor responses for safety and effectiveness.
• Monitor vital signs and health status; report changes to physicians.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs; provide orientation and training to new staff.
