Job summary
Avamere Transitional Care of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care in a part-time and PRN capacity. Schedule includes Eve shift PT - PRN across all shifts, with wage range $50-$60/hr DOE.
The RN will assess residents, administer medications, monitor health, and coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, while supervising LPNs and CNAs. Must hold WA RN license and nursing degree, with CPR/BLS current.
Qualifications
- Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state. BSN preferred.
- Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment.
- Prefer experience in long term care, geriatric rehab, sub-acute and or critical care clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents and develop care plans in collaboration with the team.
- Administer medications and monitor responses.
- Document vital signs and health changes.
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs; provide orientation and training.
- Communicate with families and interdisciplinary team.
