Douglas Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time role in Windham, CT. You will provide resident-centered care on the 1st shift with eligibility for 2nd shift; establish care plans and administer medications with a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted CT RN license required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current CPR/BLS as required by facility policy.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ physical, emotional, and medical needs and report changes.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and policy.
• Monitor vital signs and health status; respond to emergencies.
• Provide direct nursing care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Document assessments, treatments, and care plans accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure resident-centered care.
• Communicate with residents, families, and team about care plans.
