Douglas Manor is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time day and evening shifts in Windham, CT. The role emphasizes resident-centered care, medication administration, and teamwork to support quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted RN license in Connecticut.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN); long-term care experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification as required by facility policy.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient-centered care skills.
• Ability to work in a long-term care setting and collaborate with a care team.
• Capable of nursing procedures including meds, IV therapy, wound care; emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' physical, emotional, and medical needs; monitor health and report changes.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and policy.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes or emergencies.
• Provide direct nursing care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure cohesive, resident-centered care.
• Document assessments, treatments, and changes in medical records.
• Communicate with residents and families about status and plans.
• Educate residents and families about care and wellness.
