Job summary

UCHealth in Colorado is seeking a Clinical Instructor RN for nights to coordinate, supervise, and evaluate nursing student education. This onsite role integrates clinical scholar models with a university faculty appointment.

Responsibilities include organizing hospital orientation, coordinating student experiences with preceptors, and conducting conferences to meet course objectives. Requires BSN, MSN enrollment or MSN in nursing management/education, RN licensure, and BLS.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• OB experience preferred (Women and Infants units).
• BSN from NLN/CCNE accredited program or state board approved.
• MSN in nursing management or nursing education (external).
• State RN licensure and 3 years of recent clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise nursing student clinical experiences.
• Conduct clinical conferences with students to meet course objectives.
• Provide direct patient care as needed to maintain clinical competence.
• Assist preceptors and leadership in education program goals and data outcomes.
