Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's in Nursing required.
• RN licensure in Colorado preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; Charge Nurse preferred.
• BLS CPR certification required through AHA/Red Cross and valid through 60 days after start date.

Aufgaben

• Makes rounds with nurses on orientation, providing education and clinical support for safe patient care and transition from beginner to competent nurse.
• Collaborates with unit educators and preceptors to assess learning needs of clinical nurses.
• Delivers orientation sessions on clinical competencies, policies, regulatory requirements, and use of clinical information technologies.
• Acts as a mentor to new staff and participates in evaluating clinical performance with unit leadership.
• Exhibits critical thinking and decisive judgment; able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
