The position requires a BSN (NLN/CCNE-accredited) or state board approval, RN licensure, 3 years of clinical experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing
• 3 years of recent clinical experience in a specialty or related area
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) with valid through start date and renewals
• Internal: MSN in progress or post-hire plan within 5 years; External: MSN in nursing management/education

Responsibilities

• Facilitates hospital orientation for nursing students and coordinates with academic course content
• Provides supervision and evaluation of students with assigned preceptors
• Coordinates and conducts clinical conferences to meet course objectives
• Participates in direct patient care activities to maintain clinical competence and documents medication administration as required
• Collaborates with leadership to develop goals and objectives for education and training programs
• Supports professional nursing practice quality and outcomes activities and data reporting
